Team headshots and a get-together, in one afternoon
The Team Headshot Social combines team headshots with a private four-hour get-together at Crown Visual Studio photography in South Melbourne. Everyone on your team is photographed on the same background, so the set matches on your website and LinkedIn. Between turns in front of the camera, the rest of the team relaxes in the studio. Bring your own food and drinks, use the big screen for a few words or a presentation, and finish with group photos.
The studio is at Unit 320/87 Gladstone St, South Melbourne: private, air-conditioned, with parking on site and a short tram ride from the CBD and Southbank.

How the afternoon works
- Arrive and settle in. Set out your food and drinks in the kitchenette, which has a microwave, hot water, cups and wine glasses.
- Headshots, one at a time. About 15 minutes per person, while everyone else catches up.
- Group photos. The whole team together, on the same backdrop.
- The big screen. Use it for speeches, a presentation, end-of-year highlights or a film.
- Your photos. The retouched team gallery is delivered within 7 business days.
The space
A 66 m² private studio and cinema room that holds up to 30 people, seated theatre or classroom style, or standing.
- Screen and sound: 200-inch screen, laser projector, 7.1 surround sound and a monitor, with HDMI, USB and AirPlay
- Seating: tables, 30 chairs and soft seating, including a sofa and lounge chairs
- Kitchenette: separate from the studio, with a microwave, toaster, hot water, cups and wine glasses
- Light: natural light, with blackout blinds for screenings
- Studio: professional lighting and backdrops for the headshots, set up and ready when you arrive
- Access: lift and stairs, accessible bathrooms on site, parking on site
Good for
End-of-year get-togethers, welcoming new starters, refreshing your website and LinkedIn photos before the new year, and team days that need more than another restaurant booking.
Make it a longer day. Add extra hours at our venue hire rate ($110 per hour on weekdays until 5pm, $150 per hour for evenings and weekends) for a workshop, a training session, a presentation or a team film screening on the big screen.
Good to know
- Food and drinks are BYO, including alcohol. The kitchenette is for preparing and serving food, not cooking, and plates and cutlery aren’t supplied.
- The building has working offices, so volume stays low on weekdays between 9am and 5pm. No DJs, live or amplified music, and no microphones are supplied.
- No smoking, glitter, confetti or helium balloons, as they affect the projector and ceiling sensors.
- Four hours comfortably covers headshots for up to 16 people.
- A makeup artist can be added for $250, and extra retouched images are $70 each.

Yes. A half day at your office or a venue of your choice is $1,000 for up to 9 people, plus a flat $150 travel and setup fee for the mobile studio.
What do we receive?
Two retouched headshots per person and group photos, delivered in an online gallery within 7 business days. Extra retouched images are $70 each.
Can the background match our brand colour?
Yes. Tell us the colour before the day and we will set it up, at no charge.
