Crown Visual Studio was founded by Amir Mahboud, a Melbourne photographer with a straightforward belief: a photograph should do a job. A headshot should get you the meeting. A folio should get you the callback. A listing should get people through the door.
Our studio on Gladstone St in South Melbourne is five minutes from the CBD, with easy access and parking. It's where we create professional headshots and LinkedIn portraits, passport and ID photography, and folios for models and actors — whether that's a first book or a rebuild. We also photograph weddings, and take on real estate and architectural work across Melbourne, including aerial photography flown under our own CASA licence.
Working across all of it keeps the standard high. The lighting discipline that makes a corporate portrait look considered is the same discipline that makes a property feel like somewhere you'd want to live.
Every session is built to be easy. We start by understanding what the images are for, then handle the rest — the lighting, the direction, the calls about what's working and what isn't.
